| Kip Poulson is a professional practising painter since leaving university in 1978 , producing images of the play of light on water , fishing boats and architecture . Kip works in the Hebrides , South of France , Switzerland , Cornwall & Scotland where he exhibits regularly each year . Original paintings , particularly of Coll's stunning scenery , are on display in a permanent exhibition at The Lighthouse Studio in Arinagour , open daily all year round 10am - 8 pm . Visitors are very welcome . Commissioned work accepted by discussion with the prospective client . The kettle is always on even on damper days ! Take a stroll up the hill past the island Post office , bear right for 200 yards along the track and keep your eyes peeled for The Lighthouse Studio signed to your left. |

| Stock designs include functional domestic ware; garden and sculptural pieces and tile pictures. There are a variety of manufacturing techniques employed including wheel thrown; handbuilt slip cast in a range of clay bodies and decorative finishes. All ceramic is fired to a high earthenware/ low stoneware and is suitable for dishwashers. |
